2026 Will Be the End of President Hakainde Hichilema’s Time in Office
I’m not a prophet, but I believe President Hakainde Hichilema will lose power in 2026. He does not ask for advice on important national issues, and that will lead to his downfall. Good leaders must listen to others and make decisions together.
No one not the police, not the courts, and not the Electoral Commission of Zambia can stop the people’s will. Under President Hichilema, Zambia has become a country full of pain, fear, and broken promises.
Zambians should not allow the 2026 elections to happen with Ms. Mwangala Zalomis and Donald Chipenzi, who support the ruling party, running the Electoral Commission. In 2026, President Hichilema will say goodbye to the presidency. He has let down the people of Zambia.
Some people think he cannot lose power, but they will be surprised. We are getting ready to take back the country from a failed government. The UPND has brought too much suffering to the people who voted for them. Zambia belongs to all Zambians, not to foreigners.
The 2026 election is not about political parties. It is about the people’s right to choose and demand good leadership. Zambians want to be free and live better lives. The UPND government has taken away people’s dignity and misused power. Democracy needs checks and balances, but the UPND has ignored this.
Sadly, the police are now being used to silence opposition voices. Many opposition leaders are in jail or facing court cases for weak reasons. Peaceful protests are stopped with too much force. The government is even watching people online, making it risky to speak freely.
The media is no longer free. The government controls the news and only allows stories that support them. Cyber laws are used to silence anyone who speaks against them. The justice system is no longer fair it favors those who support the ruling party.
Prices are going up fast. Fuel and electricity are expensive. Life is hard for normal Zambians. But instead of fixing these problems, the UPND is more focused on staying in power. Now, it’s too late to talk with President Hichilema. He is leaving office soon.
We ask international groups and democratic countries to hold the UPND accountable for how they are treating Zambians. The signs are clear 2026 will be the last year of President Hakainde Hichilema in power.
